INSTRUCTIONS FOR BLOGGERS
- Your blog needs to be 1500 to 2000 words long.
- The blogs will help you engage the general public and enhance the impact of your research.
- Use simple sentences and avoid jargons.
- Think carefully about the first and the last few sentences.
- Your audience is the general public/lay readers not researchers. Website visitors expect you to tell them a story.
- If you have to use any concept or term you could add description in the end note and not foot note.
- Please add a reference list in the end and embed your references into text by using insert link option in MS word.
- Your blog will be widely accessible on the GSN website.
- Feel free to ask if you are unfamiliar with these applications.
THE PROCESS
- You submit the blog to the Editor-in-Chief.
- The Editor-in-Chief will conduct a preliminary review, identify major issues if there is any, and send that back to the blogger.
- The blogger is expected to address the Editor-in-Chief’s review and send the revised version back to them.
- The revised blog will be sent to one of our blogs editors. Your name and affiliation are removed from the blog before it is sent to the editor.
- The editor will comment and give feedback on the blog and send that back to the Editor-in-Chief.
- The Editor-in Chief will edit the comments if necessary and send that to the blogger.
- The bloggers are expected to work on the editor’s feedback.
- The bloggers need to send the revised blog to the Editor-in-Chief.
- The Editor-in-Chief will review the revised draft and upload the blog to the website.
